Educators Believe Educational Technology Can Personalize Learning

Teachers and administrators say educational technology can be an effective tool for differentiation which they largely agree helps to improve student outcomes. But they want more professional development in pedagogy and instructional methods, as well as more training in using tech tools. And they could use more and better devices, according to a new survey from DreamBox Learning, PBS, and the Education Week Research Center.Sixty-nine percent of respondents said differentiation and/or personalized learning is “very valuable” for improving student outcomes. Nearly all respondents (93 percent) agreed that using technology for instructional purposes is an effective way to provide differentiated and/or personalized learning experiences that adapt to student needs.
