These goal-oriented and evidence-based projects are designed to improve opportunity for all Alabamians. Among these projects are the recent launching of the Alabama Committee on Credentialing and Career Pathways; Strong Start, Strong Finish; Born Ready; the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, the Advisory Council for Excellence in STEM; and Success Plus. The curriculum incorporates employability skill standards that help students succeed in the workplace, such as problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, communications, and workplace etiquette.
