On May 9th, simulation education technology provider for medical professionals and centers, Sentinel U® announced the launch of its newest virtual simulation called the Advanced Practice SeriesTM.
The simulation series is designed keeping in mind the comprehensive needs of advanced practice learners. Its virtual encounters empower nursing students, physician associates (PA), and nurse practitioners to enhance their decision-making and clinical judgement skills required to make an accurate diagnosis.
"We are excited to expand the depth and breadth of our virtual simulations and clinical experiences to now include simulations specifically for the advanced practice market. This new simulation series can be used after the required 720 hours to meet clinical hours, allowing learners to practice and refine essential diagnostic and care competencies."
- Jeffrey Caplan, president of Sentinel U
The virtual simulation series delivers over 55 patient encounters across 11 areas of specialty that cover mental health, women’s health, cardiology, gerontology, oncology, complex adult, and paediatric care.
"The Advanced Practice Series offers engaging patient scenarios designed to ensure that learners are thoroughly prepared for any situation they may encounter in practice. Just like our products created for nursing students, we tapped the knowledge of highly respected working professionals to help us develop this new virtual simulation series."
