Early Warning Systems (EWS) can help schools and districts identify students at risk of dropout early enough to provide them with extra support toward graduation. Research has produced numerous evidence-based recommendations for dropout prevention on which practitioners can draw. REL Midwest aims to increase graduation rates and help build regional capacity to design and implement evidence-based policies and programs that support college access, college completion, and workforce success through the Dropout Prevention Research Alliance and CCRS Research Alliance.

SmallSat Education Conference

The Inaugural SmallSat Education Conference serves as an important East Coast gathering where educators, administrators, and students will learn about CubeSats, ThinSats, and High Altitude Balloon programs. Our target audiences are faculty and students from middle school through college. Presenters will include existing university teams and industry experts. Attendance is free for students and educators, and $50 for other adults. Exhibitors and vendors are encouraged to showcase their products and services. Higher Education and Homelessness Conference

It will examine the role of Higher Education in supporting those with lived experience of homelessness in policy and practice and seek to establish systemic, institutional and individual solutions which can be taken to support an evidence-based approach to ending homelessness.
