Growth mindset strategies can be effective classroom techniques. After all, learning is hard work, and growth mindset is based on the idea that hard work produces results. Teachers who use growth mindset with students often focus on: Recognizing a willingness to go after challenges and stick with them until solved, Pointing out how strategy improved achievement. Making concepts relevant not only in class but also beyond place and time.

K12 Team is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that teaches reading to children. Using a systematic phonics program we tutor elementary school students both privately and in small groups. We have after school programs and programs open to the community.K12 Team addresses literacy needs as early as pre-kindergarten. Early phonemic awareness combined with reading skills and vocabulary development builds a strong foundation for the comprehension skill needed to become a lifelong learner.
