An exclusive distribution agreement for the US market has been reached between Merlyn Mind, Inc. and Promethean®, a preeminent worldwide education technology firm. The voice-activated AI solution Symphony ClassroomTM, which gives teachers access to the Merlyn digital assistant, will be distributed by Promethean under the terms of the new deal. Customers will be able to buy Symphony Classroom directly through Promethean's network of resellers thanks to the agreement.

The new updates to the Schneider Electric University Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA) qualification include fundamentals of power, cooling, racks, and physical security, and guidance on how to optimize data center designs to drive resilience, energy efficiency and sustainability. It’s newest courses, for example, include Optimizing Cooling Layouts for the Data Center; Fundamental Cabling Strategies in the Data Center; Examining Fire Protection Methods in the Data Center; and Fundamentals of Cooling II – Humidity in the Data Center.
Furthermore, its curriculum addresses key focal points for the industry such as Data Center Site Selection and Planning, which offers guidance on how to select brown and greenfield sites for access to renewable energy; Alternative Power Generation Technologies, which helps drive the implementation of renewable energy strategies, on-site power generation and use of technologies such as microgrids; and Battery Technology for Data Centers, which evaluates the sustainability impact of different types of UPS batteries, the benefits of Lithium-Ion technology, and offers an analysis of the associated lifecycle costs.
Addressing the industry skills gap
Research in the Uptime Institute Annual Data Center Survey 2021 estimates staff requirements will grow globally to nearly 2.3 million in 2025. Further, 32% of respondents reported difficulty in retaining staff, with 47% having difficulty finding qualified candidates for open jobs. Attracting and retaining talent within the industry, which is the heart of the digital economy, is now reaching a critical mass.

Elite Education Group International Limited (NASDAQ: EEIQ), (the "Company" or "Elite Education Group International"), a provider of comprehensive education solutions for domestic and international students interested in college and university programs in the US, Canada and the UK, today announced that Davis College recently signed a non-binding agreement for a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Anhui Business College, located in Wuhu, Anhui Province, China; Davis College also signed an agreement for bilateral exchange activities as well as the development of a program in Interior Design leading to a diploma (the "Agreement") with Chongqing Technology and Business Institute, located in Chongqing, China.
The MOU between Davis College and Anhui Business College contemplates working in the future on cooperative higher education projects, student exchange programs, and enrollment in dual degree programs issued by both Davis College and Anhui Business College. The MOU is intended to facilitate inter-college exchanges and boost connections between the two institutions. The MOU will be effective for five years but can be cancelled with six-months notice by either Davis College or Anhui Business College.
The Agreement between Davis College and Chongqing Technology and Business Institute calls for bilateral exchange activities in the higher education sector. The proposed joint academic program will include 39 courses taught by both schools with dual degrees awarded by both Davis College and Chongqing Technology and Business Institute. The Agreement also designates the development of a three-year degree program in Interior Design to be based at Chongqing Technology and Business Institute. The term of the agreement is five years.
