EdisonLearning, a provider of digital learning solutions for K-12 grade students, has recently announced its partnership with Game Learning, to bring online learning to life. Through this partnership, it is adding an interactive educational gaming curriculum to its online, blended learning content.
It will be providing educational video games to PK-8 students and schools for subjects like Math, History, Science and English. These games are compatible with individual learning preferences and capabilities of students like auditory, visual and kinesthetics. The strategy of playing these games includes life simulation, turn-based, role-playing, and real-time.
The variety of styles and different approaches to gaming will provide opportunities to engage, entertain and learn. This curriculum is accessible on tablets or desktops without the requirement of a high-speed connection. They are designed in a way that they can be used at home, in the classroom, during after-school programs and in travel.
Founder and CEO of Game Learning Matt Massman said, "Our games use a variety of play styles to maximize online learning engagement. Because our games feel like real games, instead of online textbooks, students engage more deeply while developing a love of learning. This lays the foundation for lifelong learning".
